Check your Apple TV before you start streaming
Check the Apple TV box connected to your screen. A listing you see on an iPhone does not settle whether the same player is available on that Apple TV model.
Identify the box and its software
Record the model and software version from the device settings. Search the store available on that box for the player’s exact name. Read the listing to see whether it is compatible and whether it asks for a separate payment.
Test the sound and subtitle controls
Pick a familiar programme during the trial. Check volume, subtitle selection and the ability to return to the player menu with the remote. If sound is delayed, note whether the issue appears when using TV speakers and when using your sound system.
Send a reproducible report
List the box model, player version, time and whether the problem affects other programmes. A short, repeatable example is more useful than a list of every setting on the device.
