Check an IPTV player on your smart TV
Use the model number and the TV’s own app store. The badge on the front of the set is a starting point, while the exact model, software and store region determine what you can try.
Find the model without moving the telly
Start in the About or Support area of the TV settings. Copy the model and software version as shown. Look up the player on the TV itself so you can read any price or device requirement before installing it.
Compare a player on a device you already have
If the app you want is unavailable, check a streaming box or stick you already use. Try the same programme on that device, with the TV as the display. This keeps the comparison focused on the player and device.
Check daily controls during the trial
Test search, volume, subtitles and getting back to the player after a restart. Write down any feature you need every day. Confirm it before paying for a longer term.
