IPTV subscription UK: plans, costs and trial checks
Understand TellyPal's four one-off UK plans, conditional player charges, device transfers and the no-card 24-hour trial.

Check TellyPal on your own telly before paying.
Start a free 24-hour trial with no card. Check your channels, supported player and device, then read the current plans and activation terms.
An IPTV subscription in the UK is worth comparing by its service term, the programmes you want, device support and the complete first payment. The player app, the subscription and any player-activation charge are different things. Check all three before choosing a plan.
This guide explains TellyPal's current UK offer. It is written by the provider, not an independent market survey. If you are still comparing services, start with the UK provider checklist. If you want to test TellyPal first, request the free 24-hour UK trial: no card is required.
What you are buying, and what you may already own
The service delivers available live and on-demand programmes over an internet connection. You also need a compatible device and player app. Depending on your setup, you may need to install or activate an app; a smart-telly or Firestick name alone does not establish compatibility.
Tell support the exact model, operating system and player you already use before buying equipment or activation. A working existing player has no initial TellyPal activation charge. For a Firestick, start with the UK Fire OS and Vega compatibility guide. For a telly app, use the UK smart-TV guide. Compare UK player apps before paying for another licence; the setup index covers other devices.
A player licence does not itself include a TellyPal subscription, and a working stream does not establish distribution rights. Ask about the permissions covering the programmes and UK viewing territory that matter to you. There is no promise here of every channel, permanent availability or universal compatibility.
Current UK IPTV subscription prices
These are one-off subscriptions for one account, with no automatic renewal. The prices and service terms are those on the current UK pricing page.
| Plan | Subscription | Initial activation if needed | Total if TellyPal activates one player |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 months | £60 | £13 | £73 |
| 10 months | £85 | £13 | £98 |
| 24 months | £155 | Included | £155 |
| Lifetime | £255 | Included | £255 |
If you already own a working compatible player, there is no initial activation charge. For new 6- or 10-month purchases on Saturdays and Sundays in Ireland local time, initial player activation is free. The 6- and 10-month initial totals are then £60 and £85. Initial activation is included on 24-month and Lifetime plans in either case.
Lifetime means six years of guaranteed service, with no commitment beyond those six years. It does not mean an unlimited-duration promise. A ten-month plan is ten months of service, not a discounted way to describe a full year.
Choose the term you actually want. Compare another offer over the same duration, with its player charges, renewal rules and account count included. We do not use an unverified "typical UK monthly price" to calculate a saving for you.
One account, more screens and device transfers
A standard account is for one chosen device. Keeping two or more devices active requires separate accounts. Every plan offers buy two subscriptions and get a third separate account free, so three accounts can serve three devices at once.
On the short plans, three players that all need initial activation add £39 in total. If you already have working players, ask for the itemised quote for your actual setup instead of assuming every player needs activation. Initial activation is included on the 24-month and Lifetime bundles.
Moving an account to another device is free on all four plans. If the destination player needs activation, the separate lifetime player-activation charge is £13 per player; an already working, activated player has no activation charge. The transfer removes access from the old device and preserves the remaining service term. Confirm any activation charge and which device will be removed before proceeding.
What happens after you request the free trial
- Open the UK trial form and give your name and WhatsApp number. There is no required email or card field.
- Tell support the device model and player you intend to use.
- Follow the setup guidance and confirm when your 24-hour access begins.
- Test the programmes and controls you care about on your normal screen and broadband.
- Decide separately whether to purchase a plan. The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
Watch a continuous session at your usual viewing time. If there is a problem, note the channel, time, player and connection type before asking for help. The trial testing checklist describes the method; its euro price examples are for Ireland, so use this page and UK pricing for your quote.
Payment, service start and the guarantee
Payment is by card through a secure Stripe payment link, or Revolut. Service and the 90-day guarantee start at first payment. Nothing renews automatically.
Read the written refund policy for eligible subscription payments, account and bundle treatment, and the process. Separately charged player activation and payment-plan fees are non-refundable. A free bundle account has no cash refund. Do not assume that an app payment or a particular refund outcome is covered without checking the terms.
Check the current plans and terms of service immediately before paying. If a price, player charge or account rule in a quote is unclear, ask for the complete amount and service term in writing.
UK subscription questions
Is this a monthly direct-debit subscription?
No. TellyPal's current four plans are one-off payments for their stated service terms. None renews automatically. You choose separately whether to purchase further service.
Is £60 the complete six-month starting cost?
It is the six-month subscription price. If TellyPal needs to activate your player, add £13, making £73 initially for one account. A working player you already own has no initial activation charge.
Can I try before paying for a plan?
Yes. The current UK offer is a free 24-hour trial with no card required. Support confirms device setup and when access begins.
Does "Lifetime" mean forever?
No. It guarantees six years of service, with no commitment beyond those six years. Check that service period against what you actually want before choosing it.
Who do I contact about a specific device or quote?
Message TellyPal on WhatsApp at TELLYPAL_CONTACT_PENDING. Support is available seven days a week. The privacy policy explains use of request details; do not put passwords or private login details into public posts.

Frequently asked questions
What does an IPTV subscription in the UK normally include?
Live channels, an on-demand library of films and series, and an electronic programme guide, delivered over your existing broadband rather than a dish or aerial. What separates one service from another is which channels are carried and whether the stream holds up at peak time, not the headline channel count.
Is an IPTV subscription cheaper than Sky in the UK?
Usually, but the honest comparison depends on what you are replacing. If you only watch terrestrial channels, Freeview costs nothing and is the better answer. The saving is real for households currently paying for a sports tier they use a few months of the year.
What is the difference between a monthly and a one-off IPTV plan?
A monthly plan bills again whether you watched anything or not, and stops the day you stop paying. A one-off plan is paid once for its stated service term, with no automatic renewal. TellyPal uses one-off pricing: £60 for six months, £85 for ten months, £155 for 24 months or £255 for Lifetime, with six years of guaranteed service, each on one device.
Do I need a contract or a credit check?
Not with us. There is no contract, no minimum term, no credit check and no card taken for the free trial. You send a name and a WhatsApp number, get a login back, and watch for 24 hours before deciding anything.
Can I use an IPTV subscription on more than one telly?
Each account plays on one device at a time. For a second or third telly, buy two subscriptions and get a third separate account free. Bigger household setups are arranged on WhatsApp once the first device is working.
